Like Uptowngal and Sndy, my favourites are also Emon, Amit Paul and Deepali. I will be as happy if any of the three wins. After all, our FOREFATHERS came from India and it is natural to give them a support. Blood is thicker than water, haina ta?
To answer your question, she is an Adhikari even if she is an Indian. Afnai Chetri-Bahun ho. So, don't forget to vote for her. Our inner loyalty lies towards our own caste transcending showcase citizenship. Poor Prashant, who cares for him in reality? Only a few diehards.

May the best one win true, but honestly.....I think Prashant has the most enchanting and melodious voice among the male contenders. Deepali, is my personal fav. among the gals..... Rest of them are good stage performers and less singers. I thought the singers were supposed to sing good first, then performances, dance, looks and so on......
sndy, i'm afraid that emon guy might get lots of votes from all over India. Emon seems to be a very versatile singer to me while Prashant really has that magical voice. I find him really really melodious. I want him to win!!!!! I wish we all could vote from the US.....:(
